I’m all about saving money where I can and I realize that there are excellent imitators are there for products and supplies. But are there really?
Annie’s, who makes hair supplies for African-Americans, makes a hair brush remarkably similar to the Denman brush! They are much cheaper in cost and are sold in two different sizes. I bought one recently and I was shocked at the quality of the bristles! However, after about four uses, I did sense some random sliding of the base of the brush. Awkward…

I was intrigued to discover that there was a brush similar to the Denman. I am a recent natural (I like to consider myself a virgin) and I’m still learning how to care and manage my hair. I have been eyeing the Denman, but haven’t yet bought it as I have been searching for a brush that I can buy locally. I am greatly interested in this new brush and would really love to win a brush that I can advertise to all of my friends! Thanks.

I actually found the Annie brush at my local beauty supply place. I’m sure if they have it in this podunk town, you can find on in your area too!

Oh wow something just as good as a Denman! I would love to win a brush. I’m a college student and money is tight! It’s hard buying hair products that actually work well instead of settling for something affordable. I would really appreciate it!

Thank you! Thank you! I received my brush today *doing cabbage patch* and I will use it tonight when I do my hair. Let me know where you’d like me to give the review. It looks just like a Denman too! Let me know where I can buy another one just in case I like it. My stepdaughter has a bad habit of destroying my brushes with her thick hair.

OK I used the brush and I really liked it. It felt really good on my scalp, felt like it was scratching my head LOL I’ve never tried the Denman, but my sister has one and it looks similar. The only thing I was worried about was how rough it felt, but it didn’t rip out my hair at all (I hardly shed anyway) and it detangled my hair quite nicely. I would definitely buy one of these again. I was at Sally’s looking for one so I can have it as a back-up. Again, in case my step-daughter ruins it since she has the bad habit of destroying all brushes with her waist length thick hair.
